How to Add / Change Custom Favicon to Blogger

Today we will discuss about How to Add Custom Favicon to Blogger.
If you want to change your default favicon then here i am posting simple steps to do that.
In blogger dashboard under (blogger tamplate) layout tab, on left upper corner you can see your blog favicon. It is a default orange favicon of your blog.
But before you change favicon you have to make a favicon for your blog.

What is Favicon -

• A favicon is a .ico formate, popularly known as ICO (icon) file formate.

How to make fevicon -

You can make / create one of your choice with any photo editing software. It should be square image that is less than 100 KB to change in blogger.
But the problem is many photo editing software don't allow to save image in .ico or icon formate. This problem can be solved by saving your image in .png formate, then you can use any online fevicon generate tool to change it.

After creating of favicon its time to change your blog fevicon.

How to Add Custom Favicon to Blogger

Simply follow these steps - 

• Log in to your blogger account
• Go to your blogger dashboard
• Then Go to Layout
• Here in your layout of your blog you can see Fevicon option

Like this - 

• Then click on edit button
• After clicking on edit button a pop up window will up with Favicon options

Like this - 

Now browse your created favicon and click on save.
Your'r done

Note - After saving your custom favicon, some time you may not able to see it immediately, in your blog. It just happens because the older default favicon remains in your browsre's cache. To solve this clear your browser's cache, or you can wait for some time hours or days to expire and get deleted automatically.
