What is Meta Tag -
Meta Tags are HTML elements that used to provide structured meta data about a web page or about your webpage / blog / website. Meta tags are placed in the head section of an HTML document and Search Engines use this data to display the search snippet when they display a web page from your blog or from a website.
How to add Meta Description Tags to Blogger Blog -
- Go to blogger Dashboard.
- Than Go to Settings > Search Settings and Enable Meta Tags.
In the text area write or give a 150 character description about your Blog. This text will be used by Search engines when your Blog’s home page is displayed on Search Engines.
After enable Meta Tag you will see search description in your post option / post settings / post editors when you will going to post a new post on your blog. You can also add there a search description about each post. The Search Description Option will come up in the post editor only when you enable Meta Tags.
